Easy Contact Uninstallation

To uninstall the Easy Contact plugin in your WordPress driven Blog, login to WordPress as administrator, by simply entering the url_of_your_website/wp-admin in your Browser. Enter the appropriate username and password {which was provided while installing WordPress} and then click on Log In as shown in Diagram 1.

After logging in as WordPress Admin, a Dashboard page opens as shown in Diagram 2.

The Dashboard provides access to different WordPress functions and features.

In the left menu, locate the link Plugins. Click on Plugins, from the drop down menu that appears click on Plugins as shown in Diagram 3.

The Plugins page opens. A list of all plugins is displayed as shown in Diagram 4.

Locate Easy Contact from among the installed and activated plugins. Click on Deactivate as shown in Diagram 4.

NOTE: Unless this plugin is deactivated, you will not be able to uninstall the plugin from the WordPress core.

The message Plugin deactivated is displayed as shown in Diagram 5.

After the plugin is deactivated, you can now delete the plugin from WordPress core. Click on Delete as shown in Diagram 6.

When you click on Delete the plugin deletion immediately prompts for a confirmation of deletion.

The You are about to remove the following plugin {plugin_name}. Are you sure you wish to delete these files? message is displayed as shown in Diagram 7.

Click Yes, Delete these files to confirm the deletion of the plugin from the WordPress Core as shown in Diagram 7.

Otherwise, Click on No, Return me to the plugin list for cancelling the plugin deletion step.

The selected plugins have been deleted message is displayed as shown in Diagram 8.

The Easy Contact Plugin is now successfully deactivated and uninstalled from your WordPress core.
