side menu is stuck down at the bottom of the page

I am working on a website and i am designing side menu on my web page. No matter how I change or edit the footer menu styling follows the sidebar around the page and now my side menu is stuck down at the bottom of the page. please can anyone solve my problem

Try adding float: left; display: inline; and clear: both; to your footer menu styling.
