Issue Refund link

What if I use the Issue Refund link, but I don't have the total amount available in my PayPal balance?

You will receive a partial refund. This partial refund is credited to your PayPal balance or the card you used to make your original payment.

• If you paid using your PayPal balance or bank account, we credit the partial refund to your PayPal balance.

• If you paid with a credit or debit card, we credit your partial refund to the card you used.

Remember that, depending on the card issuer, it can take up to 30 days for a refund to appear on your statement.
