In Paypal, When a refund is sent, is all the money returned to the sender's account?

How a refund is credited depends on how you made the original payment.

• If you paid using your PayPal balance or bank account, we credit the refund to your PayPal balance.

• If you paid with a credit or debit card, we credit the refund to your card. Depending on the card issuer, it can take up to 30 days for your refund to appear on your statement.

• If you paid using more than one payment, we credit the amount paid with a credit or debit to that card. We credit the rest of the refund amount to your PayPal balance.
