Article Details

hi,

I am new to Joomla 1.7.

I have created an article. I have created a menu and bound that menu to the article. In the front end when I view the Menu, the article is visible. After the article tittle, these are the details which are show:

Category: Uncategorised
Published on Sunday, 06 November 2011 05:34
Written by Super User
Hits: 0

I do not want to display the above details.

Please can some one help me to solve this issue?

If you want to permanently disable the below mentioned parameters:

Login in to Joomla Admin Section. Go to Content -> Article Manager.

In the Article Manager page that opens up click on Options icon at the right hand corner.

A popup light-box opens.

From the Article Tab, set the below options to Hide:

Show Category - Hide
Show Author - Hide
Show Publish Date - Hide
Show Hits - Hide

and click on Save and Close.

After setting the above parameters refresh the front end of your website.

All the above mentioned parameters will have disappeared.
