Does wordpress work for blogging only?

Does WordPress only work for blogs or it's a good idea for websites too?

I launched my website with WordPress , but now am thinking it would be better to do in simple HTML code.

WordPress plugins are killing me.

WordPress is brilliant or creating Websites. Especially interactive ones.

Using HTML you can only create pretty looking but static websites, which is the nature of HTML.

Do post your WordPress plugin problems on this forum we use a ton of WordPress plugins regularly.

I'm sure some of us could help you succeed with what you are trying to do using a plugin.
