Hi,

I am trying to update my site to WordPress 3.1.

When I press the "Upgrade Automatically" button, it looks as though it has started and gives me the error message "Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded"

However, nothing happens after this.

I don't really want to do it manually as I am not confident enough that I won't mess my entire site up!

Please help!

You have to increase your maximum execution time in php.ini.
