Contacts: Standard Contact Layout

Description:

Standard Contact Layout menu type creates a menu link to display the details of a single Contact.

Menu Item Details

Enter the required details in the Title, Alias, Display in, Parent item and Published for the menu item. In the Title section, you can name the page as Contact Us.

The explanation of each of the menu item details is given in Lesson 2.

Parameters

On the right hand side, the Parameters – Basic has various configurations:

Contact: You have to select the desired Contact from the drop-down list box. It would be the single contact displayed in the front end.
Drop Down: You can ‘Hide’ or ‘Show’ a drop-down list box that allows a User to select a different Contact from the same Category.
Show the Category in Breadcrumbs: You can ‘Hide’ or ‘Show’ the Contact Category in the Breadcrumbs display.

Click Save at the top right hand corner, this menu item would be successfully created and saved as shown in Diagram 2.

Click on Preview at the top-right hand corner to view the front page of your website.
In the main menu, you would see the Standard Contact item created as shown in Diagram 3.
