Here is how the weekly course structure and content for the PHP programming course is defined in Moodle.
From the Moodle Admin menu, navigate through:
Home -> Courses –> Programming { Course Category } -> PHP { Course Name } .
The Weekly outline screen will be displayed in the Browser as shown in diagram 1.

Click the drop down list box Add a resource… as shown in diagram 2.

From the drop down list box click on File to add a file based resource to the PHP Programming course. This was chosen to upload PDF based resources used in the PHP Programming course. The screen as shown in diagram 3 is displayed in the Browser.

Add the Name and Description of the File being added, set all the other attributes as required and then click on Save and return to course to complete this job as shown in diagram 3. Repeat this process until all the PDF resources required by the PHP Programming course have been uploaded to the Moodle driven website.
The PHP Programming course was set up to be a 4 week course, upon reflection the course was increased by 2 weeks. Initially the Weekly outline of the PHP Programming course was as shown in diagram 4

No more weekly resources could be added to the PHP Programming course. To increase the number of weeks of the PHP Programming course by 2 more weeks:
Site Administration -> Courses –> Add/edit courses -> Programming -> PHP Programming -> Edit Icon ![]()
Set the number of weeks / topics for the course as shown in diagram 5.

The number of weeks in the Weekly outline will increase as shown in diagram 6 allowing additionally resources to be added to the PHP Programming course.
