OpenOffice Uninstallation

Uninstalling Open Office on Windows:

Click on Start -> Control Panel, in order to uninstall Open Office from windows as shown in Diagram 1.

In the control panel window that opens locate and double click the Add or Remove Programs icon as shown in Diagram 2.

The Add or Remove Programs dialog box pops up. Locate the OpenOffice.org 3.2 entry.

Select this entry (i.e. OpenOffice.org 3.2) and click on the Remove button on the right hand side to uninstall the program as shown in Diagram 3.

This action will display an Alert which prompts for a confirmation to uninstall OpenOffice.org 3.2. Click Yes as shown in Diagram 4.

After collecting the information that the uninstaller needs, the un-installation process of Open Office.org 3.2 begins.

A progress bar is displayed, that indicates how the uninstallation process of Open Office is going on as shown in diagram 5.

Once the progress bar reaches the end of its run, the Open Office.org 3.2 entry will disappear from the Add or Remove Programs list.

Open Office.org 3.2 has been completely removed from the system. It’s as simple as this.
