A style is a collection of page content, formatting attributes that are grouped together and then given a name. Styles are saved along with the active document. Styles can also be stored as a specific reusable template. Then in the future any document can be bound to this template and its document content styled using the formatting attributes of this template.
In order to view and organize styles in templates, follow these simple steps:
1. Select File -> Templates -> Organizer. A Template Management window opens as shown in Diagram 1.

The Template Management dialog box opens which allows copying styles as shown in Diagram 2 across templates and documents. To copy a style, drag it to another template or document.

A page layout can be designed and a page style can be created based on it.
For example: A page style can be created that displays a specific header and an additional page style can be created that displays a different header.
1. Open a new text document, select Format -> Styles and Formatting, and then click the Page Styles icon. The Page Styles dialog box appears as shown in Diagram 3.

2. Click the New Style from Selection icon as shown in Diagram 4.

3. Type a name for the page in the Style name box and then click OK as shown in Diagram 5.

4. Right-click the name and select Modify from the given options as shown in Diagram 6.

5. Change the settings of the Page Style and click on OK to save the changes made.

6. Double click the name in the list to apply the style to the current page or Select Insert -> Header and choose the new Page Style created from the submenu
7. Type the desired text in the header
8. Select Insert -> Manual Break as shown in Diagram 8.

9. In the Type area, select Page Break and then select Default from the Style box

10. Repeat steps from 2 to 7 in order to create a second custom Page Style with a different header
Styles can be imported from another document or template into the current document.
The steps to follow are:
1. Select Format -> Styles and Formatting, A Styles and Formatting window opens.
2. Click the New Style from Selection icon and select Load Styles as shown in Diagram 10.

3. Use the check boxes at the bottom of the dialog box as shown in Diagram 11 to select the style types that is to be imported. To replace styles in the current document that have the same name as the ones imported, select Overwrite.
