Once the Featured Product module is installed in Joomla Featured Products are displayed on desired menu items within the Joomla template.
Featured products are also displayed on the VirtueMart page. If you desire, you can Hide/Display Featured Products on VirtueMart page. To do this follow the steps below:
In the frontend of your website, click on the Shopping Cart link in the Main Menu as shown in Diagram 1.

The featured products are displayed in the VirtueMart shopping cart page as shown in Diagram 2.

Log into the backend of Joomla as administrator, then in the top menu, locate the link Components. Click on Components, from the drop down menu that appears click on VirtueMart as shown in Diagram 3.

The VirtueMart Control Panel window is displayed as shown in Diagram 4.

The Administration panel is on the Left hand side. Under the Admin tab, Click on Configuration as shown in Diagram 5.
Once you click on the Configuration link, the VirtueMart Configuration Screen will be displayed as shown in Diagram 5.

Click on the Site tab of the Configuration screen as shown in Diagram 6.

In Site tab, under Layout section, there is an option for “Select the theme for your Shop”, click on the link called “Configuration” which is placed below the drop- down list box as shown in Diagram 7.

The Parameters section contains various settings for theme is displayed.
Locate the option “Show featured products on frontpage?” as shown in Diagram 8.

Set the radio button of this option to “No”.
Click on Save/Apply, to make sure the changes are stored as shown in Diagram 9.

The Configuration settings would successfully be updated message is displayed as shown in Diagram 10.

To view this, in the frontend of the website, Click on the Shopping Cart link in the Main Menu.
The Featured Products would not be displayed in the VirtueMart page as shown in Diagram 11.
