After the installation and configuration of VirtueMart is completed successfully, do the following to display VirtueMart content to visitors of website.
Login in to Joomla as administrator. Enter the url_of_your_website/administrator in your Browser address bar. Enter the username, password {which you had provided while installing Joomla} and then click on Login as shown in Diagram 1.

After logging in to the Joomla Admin backend, a control panel page opens as shown in Diagram 2. The Control Panel provides access to different Joomla! functions and features.

In the textual menu bar, Click Menus, from the drop down list of select Main Menu as shown in Diagram 3.

The Menu Item Manager will be displayed along with a list of menu items belonging to the main menu.
Click New to add a new menu item to the main menu as shown in Diagram 4.

Next, select the type of menu item from the hierarchical structure of Menu Item. Now, click on the VirtueMart hyperlink as shown in Diagram 5.

Enter the details for Title and Alias as shown in Diagram 6.
You can configure other VirtueMart settings according to the requirements you have.
Click on Sav OR Apply to make the changes permanent as shown in Diagram 6.

The Shopping Cart, menu item will be successfully created as shown in Diagram 7.

Click on Preview in order to view the VirtueMart on the Frontend of your site.
Click on the Shopping Cart link in the main menu as shown in Diagram 8.

The VirtueMart shopping cart is displayed on the frontend of Joomla as shown in Diagram 9.
